What to expect the week of November 15-19, 2010 Last week was a busy week. We sang at the Veteran' Day program at school and travelled to to the VA hospital to sing for the patients and residents there. The fifth grade did such a fantastic job. I am so proud of all of you for working to make this a wonderful tribute to our Veterans. Heath Schuler was very impressed with our students' ability to sing and put on a wonderful program. Thanksgiving is quickly approaching with Christmas right around the corner. It is the time of year that starts to get crazy. Make sure that you are keeping up with your assignments and reading log each week. Keep using your agenda books. This will keep you from forgetting things. We will be having a vocabulary test this week. Make sure that you are studying your words. We are also learning RUNNERS. This is a great way to ace multiple choice type tests. Practice these strategies on whatever you are reading. |
Reading is the gateway to the world!
Don't forget your reading logs each week!! 15 minutes a day or 60 minutes per week!! Due on Friday! |
